Amsterdam Trip

Note: This event is only for first year students following the International Econometrics or BSc2 Programme

Need to take a little break from books and notes after first exams? Curious to know more about the Dutch culture? Or just in for a fun day with your fellow freshmen?

On Saturday the 3rd of November, the Freshmen committee organises a cultural fun trip to Amsterdam! The perfect opportunity to relax and have fun after stressful week of exams in a living museum of a bygone age and to flatter the eternal beauty of the centuries-old canals, the ancient patrician houses, and the atmosphere of freedom and tolerance.

What we’ll do there remains a surprise, but we promise you that you’ll have seen a lot of our beautiful capital by the end of the day.

We’ll gather in the main hall of Rotterdam Centraal at 11:00, from where we’ll be heading to Amsterdam by train. Make sure you bring your OV card.  However, we’ll arrange group tickets* for internationals and those who do no have discounts with their OV cards on weekend. (Group discount is larger than 40%)

Prepare yourself for a great day away from studying for only €5. If you want to join for dinner in Amsterdam, it will only cost you additional €4.50.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask them via fc@faector.nl, we’ll try to answer as soon as possible.

See you on the 3rd of November!

*group ticket means that you have to travel both directions with your group so make sure you inform us whether you join for dinner
