DESCRIPTION:Every year\, FAECTOR hosts a lot of events: from social drinks 
 and parties to workshops or formal career events with many employers. This
  can only be made possible with the help of our highly appreciated committ
 ee members who support the board of FAECTOR. As a committee member you wil
 l not only create amazing events\, but also enjoy a legendary year as an a
 ctive member of FAECTOR! In June 2025\, we are recruiting new committee me
 mbers again. The following committees are opening up: - Excellence Committ
 ee - Chair of the Freshmen Committee - Chair of the Eerstejaarscommissie E
 xcellence Committee The FAECTOR/ESE Excellence Programme is a programme de
 signed for the highlymotivated students. The goal of the programme is to g
 ive students the opportunity to explore different sides of an econometric 
 theme not treated in the regular curriculum\, by learning both the theory 
 and how to apply it in practice. The programme starts in January and ends 
 in June. There are weekly sessions in block 3\, 4 and 5 (excluding week 8 
 of each block)\, consisting of either a guest lecture\, a company visit\, 
 or a workshop. The sessions (both lectures and workshops) will be on Wedne
 sdays from 5 until 7 PM. As part of the Excellence Programme committee you
  are in charge of all aspects of the organisation. Together with the rest 
 of your committee and ESE you will decide on the topic for this year’s p
 rogramme. Furthermore\, you’ll handle all the contact with professors an
 d companies giving guest lectures or hosting company visits. As an added b
 onus\, you will also participate in the programme yourself\, meaning you a
 lso receive the 4 extracurricular ECTS. The committee consists of two memb
 ers: one Chair(wo)man and one Secretary &amp\; Marketing Officer. Chair of
  the Freshmen Committee / Eerstejaarscommissie Every year\, a group of fir
 st-year students obtains a place in the Eerstejaarscommissie or the Freshm
 en Committee – important committees that carry a lot of responsibility\,
  but moreover are a lot of fun! These first-year students organise social 
 events that create memories lasting for a lifetime. This year\, the Eerst
 ejaarscommissie organised a wide spectrum of activities\, varying from a p
 ub quiz to a FAECTOR film night. The Freshmen Committee also hosted severa
 l exciting events\, such as a dinner and the annual FAECTOR football tour
 nament. At the end of the year\, both committees get to organise an unforg
 ettable introduction weekend: PINKWIN for Dutch students\, and PENGUIN for
  international and BSc2 students! By joining one of these committees\, yo
 u come into contact with all first-year students as well as students fr
 om higher years. Apart from getting to know lots of new people\, you als
 o learn various skills that you do not learn by just going to your lectu
 res.  We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic students who are driv
 en and social. The only position opening up is the Chair – one for the 
 Eerstejaarscommissie and one for the Freshmen Committee. Why should you be
 come an Active Member? Becoming an Active Member is the best way to meet a
  lot of fellow students in a short amount of time. Furthermore\, you get t
 o join exclusive activities for Active Members: Active Members Day\, Act
 ive Members Weekend and many more! Besides getting to know a lot of people
  and having the chance to participate in exclusive activities\, you will b
 e able to develop your social\, organisational and teamwork skills and boo
