SUMMARY:FAECTOR Consultancy Project
DESCRIPTION:The applications for the FAECTOR Consultancy Project are open! 
 The FCP is a great way to gain practical experience in the field of Econom
 etrics next to your studies. You will solve a problem in the field of cons
 ultancy and data analytics for one of the following organizations: For dog
  lovers\, we have a project at KNGF Guide Dogs which aims to predict the d
 onation behavior of current donors. For students who have a wider love for
  animals we also offer a project at Rotterdam Zoo (Diergaarde Bijdorp) whe
 re one can predict the number of visitors. Finally\, we have a project at 
 the Nederlandse Hartstichting where participating students give insight in
 to when people stop donating to this foundation. You can read more about t
 he projects here. During this project\, you will receive professional guid
 ance from either MIcompany\, Building Blocks\, or Amsterdam Data Collectiv
 e\, and you will also receive trainings from Gupta Strategists and MIcompa
 ny.  The best part about the FCP is the flexibility. The workload ranges 
 from just 3 to 6 hours per week\, depending on your availability and the d
 emand of the organization. We have made sure that\, especially during the 
 beginning of the project\, everything can be done online (including the pr
 ofessional guidance and trainings if needed). This means you can still do 
 something useful and fill that CV gap during the Coronacrisis! The project
  will start in the first week of April\, and last for about two months. In
  the end\, you will present your results to the organization that you are 
 working for. Next to gaining valuable personal experience\, this project a
 lso allows you to give back to the community by helping these organization
 s with a problem they would not have been able to solve on their own.  Yo
 u have to submit your CV and a (short) personal motivation. You will also 
 be able to rank the projects in order of which one you would like to parti
