SUMMARY:FAECTOR Consultancy Project 2024
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever considered becoming a consultant? The FAECTOR Con
 sultancy Project (FCP) offers you the opportunity to step into a consultan
 t role by helping non-profit organisations with data analytics projects\, 
 while at the same time allowing you to put your econometric knowledge into
  practice. This year’s organisations are UNICEF\, the Dutch Heart Founda
 tion (Hartstichting)\, SOS Kinderdorpen\, de Wisselbank and Wij.land. Her
 e you can read the descriptions of all cases. You will get to work direct
 ly with one of these organisations\, gain valuable consultant experience\,
  and improve your analytical and soft skills. You will work in teams of fi
 ve and participate in three professional workshops provided by Amsterdam D
 ata Collective\, Rewire and Gupta Strategists. These training sessions wil
 l help you with the execution of the project. Additionally\, every project
  will be guided by a professional data consultant provided by the Amsterda
 m Data Collective and MIcompany. Another advantage of the FCP is its flexi
 bility. The workload is around five hours per week\, depending on your ava
 ilability and the demands of the organisation. The project will start on t
 he 28th of March with a kick-off session and an introduction to all the pr
 ojects. The final reports will be presented at the end of June. If possibl
 e\, these presentations will be held at the company's location so that you
  will also get to visit the non-profit organisation and see what it is lik
 e to work there! Next to gaining valuable experience\, this project also a
 llows you to give back to the community by helping these organisations wit
 h a problem they would not have been able to solve on their own. Also\, no
 te that this project is worth 2 ECTS! To participate\, you must submit you
 r CV\, grade list and a personal motivation of 700 words maximum. Note tha
 t you have to be a Bachelor-3  student or higher. At the end of your moti
 vation letter\, you can rank the five projects according to your preferenc
