Python Workshop Cycle

Applications will open on 18 February 2022, 16:56h. Please note this event is for Ba2+ students.

Would you like to expand your knowledge of programming to a wider variety of languages? Are you preparing for your bachelor thesis, or just looking for ways to boost your cv with another skill? Then join this year's Python Workshop Cycle to get familiar with the language's way of working and to enhance your abilities by reading some examples, but mainly by doing exercises under the supervision of some experts.

The purpose of this Python Workshop Cycle is to introduce participants hands-on to the programming language Python, with particular emphasis on data science. Programming isn't something you can learn in a day, but with these 4 three-hour sessions you can make a very good start. Python is an incredibly useful language, both for several courses, seminar and thesis during your time at the university, as well as for implementation during your later career. The event is focused on beginners in Python, no preliminary experience is required.

The four sessions will take place on Fridays between 10:00h - 13:00h. For the exact schedule, see below. You can only participate if you are available all four sessions. Selection will be first come, first serve, so apply now!
