Talk: "How to touch an elephant: a story about pluralism in economics"

In this autobiography-meets-manifesto, Riley Badenbroek will share his vision on the field of economics. It will be a personal account of his decision to study econometrics and operations research, and how his views on economics have developed since then. Join for a fascinating tale covering steam engines, financial crisis, some mispronounced Chinese names, and an answer to the age-old question: what happens when blind people touch an elephant?

The talk will take place in Theil CB-2 on 13 February at 15:00 – 16:00, and will be followed by some free drinks and snacks. All students and staff are welcome!
